Central Valley Paddle LLC – Mobile Kayak Rental Service
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of our rental services. By booking with Central Valley Paddle LLC, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the terms below and any additional terms disclosed during the rental process.

1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to rent equipment. By booking, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Rental Terms
All equipment is rented for the agreed-upon duration stated at the time of booking.
Rentals include delivery and pickup within a 25-mile radius of Oakdale, CA. Additional fees may apply beyond this range.
A valid government-issued ID is required at the time of delivery.
All participants must sign a Liability Waiver before use. Failure to do so may result in cancellation without refund.

3. Payments & Deposits
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
A $100 refundable deposit may apply per rental, returned after the equipment is inspected and confirmed to be undamaged.
Payments are processed via secure, PCI-compliant third-party platforms.
We accept online payments only.

4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery may forfeit the deposit.
Central Valley Paddle LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to unsafe weather or water conditions. In such cases, customers may receive a full refund or reschedule at no cost.

5. Delivery & Pickup
You must be present (or have a designated adult 18+) at the scheduled delivery and pickup time.
Missed delivery/pickup may incur a $25 rescheduling fee.
Equipment must be returned in clean and serviceable condition.

6. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for the care and safe use of all equipment during the rental period.
Lost, stolen, or damaged items (outside of normal wear) will be charged at replacement or repair value.
You agree to follow all local, state, and federal laws, including water safety and life jacket requirements.

7. Assumption of Risk
By participating in our services, you acknowledge that kayaking involves inherent risks (e.g., drowning, injury, environmental exposure). You voluntarily assume all associated risks and agree not to hold Central Valley Paddle LLC liable for injuries or accidents.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Central Valley Paddle LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including injuries, loss of property, or damages resulting from equipment use, even if advised of such possibilities.

9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Central Valley Paddle LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of our services.

10. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell customer information and only share it as needed to fulfill services or comply with the law.

11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
